She started by sectioning all the hair, from the front top section and the back plaited sections.
All the back section of my hair was crimped so it was double the size and thickness, having the hair at the back crimped makes it easier to get the buns looking bigger and thicker.
I tipped my head upside down to do the braids going up the back of my head, once they were completed she put the rest of the hair in to tow bobbles so they were ready to make the buns.
Making the buns she sectioned in to four sections and back combed slightly and barrel curled the hair in to a bun shape and fixed in place with grips and pins.
On to the front section she did my two little braids going around my hair line which were really neat considering there is less hair there to work with as the hair is a little thinner around the hair line.
She pinned them at the bottom of the hair so it didn't undo it self and then moved on to the top section.
Back combing my hair makes it nice and stiff and easier to work with, so she did a lot of back combing in the top section, rolled it down on to the base and gripped in to place.
To make the roll look more a symmetrical around my head she used pins to manoeuvre the hair in to place so it looked like it went round my head rather than a big sausage shape on my head.
Unfortunately I forgot to bring my accessory to the class so we had to miss that part out. I have some pearls to put in my hair round the back of the roll and between the braids and the roll a the front too.
I was really pleased with how my hair turned out I think she did a really good job, she told me previously that she isn't fully confident with doing braids but to me she did a great job, she copied the design perfectly and I think she did a great job for her first time having a go at doing it.
Next time I think she will be able to do it faster and easier as she already knows what she is going to do and she will be more confident in what she is doing. There wasn't any thing I was unhappy with either which is great.
